Selected for the second round of the Eo Wijers!

This week started of with some great news! In collaboration with Deltares we are one of the teams selected to further research the future of the Rhine-Meuse estuary!

Our entry “Rotterdam Waterstad 2100” is a research by design in which we connect the complex spatial and climatic challenges of the Rhine-Meuse estuary and bring them together in a future perspective for the region. In this future perspective we take into account an extreme sea level rise and the consequences this will have on our future landscape. The outcome? A starting point for a vision that proves that we can continue to live in this delta in a safe, sustainable and attractive way.
