With this approval, Keilekwartier takes an important step toward becoming a future-proof, dynamic urban district. Central to the vision are space for experimentation, a strong mix of living, working, and creation, and a clear focus on landscape, social and economic resilience.

Great news at the end of 2025: our design for Hart van de Waalsprong is featured in the Blauwe Kamer Yearbook for Urbanism and Landscape Architecture.
The layout was praised for its distinctive sequence of streets and squares. Water plays a key role in the plan, with gutters channeling rainwater to the wadis and a fountain in the square providing cooling during the summer.

BURA and De Urbanisten have been selected by the Municipality of Rotterdam to develop a master plan and urban development plan for Schiehaven Noord! This area represents the final phase in the transformation of the Lloydkwartier in Rotterdam.
