Even during the summer break, progress continues to become visible in Antwerp. The River Schijn has been partially realigned and now flows through its new riverbed which is an important milestone in the transformation of the park.

At the Wapper, the historic Ruien have been opened up to reveal an important layer of the city's history. From 2028, a new circular water feature will purify rainwater from an underground reservoir.

Rotterdam City Centre? Yes, Naturally! In the report “Rotterdam Centrum – Ja Natuurlijk”, we propose a substantial increase in space for plants and trees, structured through a blue-green network of streets, boulevards, squares, parks, and green roofs. The report also highlights a series of promising projects, including the radical greening of the Lijnbaan.

With this approval, Keilekwartier takes an important step toward becoming a future-proof, dynamic urban district. Central to the vision are space for experimentation, a strong mix of living, working, and creation, and a clear focus on landscape, social and economic resilience.
