We are happy to share that our study ‘Nature-inclusive and climate-adaptive Centrumkwadraat Enschede’ was recently made public by the province of Overijssel.

Participation evening Hofbogenpark was a great success!
Last Tuesday we shared the preliminary design of Hofbogenpark with the residents and stakeholders of the adjacent neighbourhoods. The design of the new city park for people and animals was well received. It was great to see that we as designers and residents have the same ideas and that we all look forward to see in what way the ideas can be incorporated into the design. It was an valuable evening full with enthusiasm.

Construction of the new western part of the Ring in Antwerp in full swing
Last week we visited the construction site of the Ring park West in Antwerp, where the berm landscape is getting shape and the base of the ecoduct between the Vlietbos and the Middenvijver has been put in place.

The preliminary design for Hofbogenpark has been approved!
In January, we received the fantastic news that the City Council of Rotterdam approved our design for Hofbogenpark. Together with DS landschapsarchitecten and Dakdokters, we made a design for an elevated, almost 2 km long park upon the former railway of Hofpleinlijn.

Workshop Linkeroever Antwerp: Landscape first
Last week, September 30th and October 1st, De Urbanisten participated in an animated 2-days workshop “Europark Antwerp” Invited by Christian Rapp, city architect of Antwerpen, an international team of architects, landscape architects, and urban designers sketched on a long-term perspective for the monumental modernist neighbourhood Europark on the left bank of the Scheldt.
